Egg Painting Video

This isn’t a class about how to paint a great still life, but a class about using eggs to improve our brushwork and ability to build gradations in paint. Anyone who’s ever taken a painting class with me has heard me harp on about the importance of painting eggs to improve your figure painting. It teaches you value control, form control, brush control and more. This class walks you through the process of painting an egg so that you do your gosh darn homework already. These videos won’t teach you about mixing colour, but focus more on brushwork and building gradations in paint.
